Posters are an essential part of Toronto's urban landscape. A by-law that would greatly restrict postering was proposed to Toronto City Council in 2002, but it sparked widespread opposition and has been temporarily shelved. This photoessay is an attempt to explore the nature of postering in Toronto.

This photoessay is published in conjunction with the first issue of Spacing, which focuses on the postering question.
