SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE | Facade projection from urbanscreen on Vimeo.
If you live in Ottawa, or have visited recently, you might be familiar with the beautiful projections on the parliament buildings there. The life-like images dance like giants across the brick façade and force the imagination to wonder whether buildings all around the world might use digital projections as their regular surface. Are we entering a time in history when digital walls will soon be the norm? Or when we can download a new paint job or wallpaper for the living room via the online marketplace? One thing is for certain, after you watch the video above of the Sydney Opera House, the bright flickering lights that race up and down the CN-Tower, definitely pale in comparison.
