Transit First, Spacing Atlantic’s new column on urban transportation, will launch in January 2014.
As the name implies, Transit First will be primarily about transit, but don’t be surprised if I write about a bit of everything: buses, bikes, ferries, trains, traffic, car share, pedestrians or parking. My goal is to help explain how transit investment and smart transportation choices can improve cities. I’ll focus on Halifax, but expect examples and news from other cities as well.
