Spacing Atlantic is close to officially launching — tonight! The blog’s editors and contributors will be throwing a party at the Eye Level Gallery in Halifax. Come out to this free event to have a few drinks, meet people interested in city issues, and support the east coast’s newest blog. You’ll also be able to grab copies of Spacing’s Toronto-based magazine, buy some cool Halifax-themed buttons, and take part in a few fun activities. We’ll also have some Halifax-themed buttons for sale!
RSVP: tell us if you’re coming at our Facebook event listing.

Is there a non-Facebook RSVP option?
Yup. Just turn up!
Hi!
We are here right now at the launch party. We’ve got people checking out the map, y’see… They are taking blue stickers and putting them on the area of the map where they live. Lots of pointing going on over there. And sideways head tilts. (That means they are really thinking, I think).
The music is bumping, in an almost inappropriately bumping sort of way. Quite the schmoozefest, really. The windows are fogged up, that’s a good sign. That means it’s ‘hot in here’. When people raise their eyebrows at you, is that a good sign? These are questions that we must ask ourselves at a time like this. I have remarked an astonishing amount of shoulder touching at this event. I also think that this a good sign.
As I write this, my words are being projected onto the storefront window of Eyelevel. Can you see this? Gottingen? Are you there? Gottingen? Are you alive? What about you, Falkland? You’ve been quiet, do you have something to say? What about those condos across the street? How do you feel about those? How do you feel about us here, at Eyelevel, typing away?
It’s time to look up the number for Freeman’s. It’s to go.
