I am very interested in what the development just east of métro Rosemont will become – it is a mixed social/private housing scheme on a human scale and could have a positive impact on the southern end of Plaza St-Hubert and that stretch of Rosemont if it is well-inserted.
A while back, spacing looked at the area just west of métro Rosemont – where the “superhospital” was planned. It will be equally interesting if that goes ahead, provided it integrates a good percentage of social housing (co-operatives, HLMs, OSBLs etc) and such amenities as parks and trees.
I do hope the plans for Griffintown are modified. Nobody opposes development of the area, but the current plans look like a bloody suburb.
