1. This is my favourite place on earth. Anyone who hasn’t been there really must stop what they’re doing and go now! (Well, not now, since it’s closed.) But really, her cakes are out of this world.

4. BTW, Le Fournil in Westmount makes some pretty damn fine cupcakes, too.

5. I went to check this place out on Saturday and there was a sign on the door saying “sold out” … Is that even possible at a bakery?? I mean, they close at 5:00, so normally they should keep putting cupcakes out until that time, no?

6. Cocoa Locale is a one-woman operation so the goods are often sold out before closing time. At least you know that everything is always fresh!
