Spacing Toronto readers will be familiar with Tree Tuesday, the feature that takes readers to a new stop on one of Toronto’s Tree Tours each week. Now Montrealers can partake in tree tours of their own. This summer, La Forêt de Montréal will be offering tours of trees throughout the city. The season’s first tour already took place on Mount Royal this past Saturday, but there will be another one tomorrow evening, this time looking at the trees of Laval Street Avenue and its parks and laneways.
Two tours of the trees on McGill’s campus will take place in June. There’s no website yet, but you can email the tours’ organizer, Bronwyn Chester, for more details.

Um, it’s Laval Avenue, not street.
In the fall, you would hear drunk McGill students late at night, stumbling on their way home.
Here’s an old pinhole photo of it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tinman/2879218/in/set-71962/
My mistake. I often forget the generics of the Plateau’s sidestreets (Coloniale, Henri-Julien, etc.) because they just seem so random.
Rose pétant, il faut quand même le faire!
