Isn’t this where the city is thinking of putting a road or something that would then be able to join the Plateau area east of St-Denis to the Mile End section?
This neighbourhood is like going into a time warp, back to when Montreal sewed clothes for the rest of the world. The garmetn district, now moved to a Chabanel-area cluster, has a proud history in mile-end.
Yes, the city will be extending St. Viateur, developing the big vacant lot behind de Gaspé and building a footbridge over the train tracks:
