si c’est comme sur les previews, ca va etre beau et ca faire du bien a ce coin la de st catherine qui ressemble a bagdhad.
Apparently it is going to be a gigantic underground network of pipess that will transform the new plaza into a giant fountain when desired. Looking FWD to when they try testing it out on unsuspecting tourists!
It is a good urban development conception. But infrastructure is one thing – next let’s get some quality real estate / inspiring architecture built around there.
… and those pipes will also include the pneumatic system for the automated waste disposal network, as previously reported here.
I hope the project gets finished and helps our montreal economy by bringing in more tourists, since the current credit lending problems will sooner or later hit us all and we will face a truly noticeable global depression this sadly might be one of the last big cultural projects we will see in the next 10 to 15 years.

Financial sites are reporting that one casualty of the global recession will be tourism, as when people are saving, it’s one of the first discretionary items to be cut.
