This is a really great one. It is interesting to see that the direction of the street in English came before the street name: I grew up calling it (and still do) Sherbrooke Street West as opposed to West Sherbrooke Street.
Me too. I was already 11 when that photo was taken but I have no recollection of ever having heard ANYONE call it West Sherbrooke.
