  1. Lovely, under-appreciated building. Greek Revival, am I right on that? Anyone know the architect?

  2. … or wait, now I’m thinking it’s more broadly neoclassical rather than specifically Greek Revival. Anyway, enlighten me.

  3. Yes, and the trees are nice too. I think it suffers the fate of many backsides of buildings, but I was at Hôtel de Ville about a year ago for a meeting about slumlordism, and we loved going out that way and seeing that pretty building.

Meeting against slumlordism went well too, and redevelopment of the neglected housing on Christophe-Colomb between Jarry and Crémazie is continuing apace. So much for those who would call us “whiners” and opposed to development.

Nice improvements to the bicycle path there, as well!

  4. Sauf que les autos visibles sur la photo sont stationnées illégalement, et personne ne fait rien à ce sujet.
