6. Thanks. I’ve excerpts from Marsan’s book Montreal in Evolution at Google Books and he goes on record as saying a number of prominent, highly-praised Montreal structures lack architectural merit.

   The man’s well-educated and while I appreciate someone who has high standards and strong opinions, but I’m not sure I’d want to rely on his take solely when it comes to distinguishing what’s worth preserving and what’s not.
