1. Nice to see a happy ending. And they managed to keep most of the greenery around it – extra points! I’ve seen too many places where things get chopped down just because they’re somewhat in the way of contractors’ equipment.

   There’s a building in a similar situation at Van Horne & Legaré which is only now about to be rehabilitated (if the new signage is to be believed) after at least 3 & 1/2 years (for at least as long as I’ve lived here) of sitting boarded up. It surely must be much more expensive to renovate after a number of winters of freeze and thaw, animals taking up residence, water damage, rot, etc. I wonder what the delay factors are.

2. That building on Van Horne corner Legare was a synagogue it caught on fire a few years ago. It has been empty ever since though you are right.

   I wonder what will be done with it. I live on Linton and Legare so I see it on a daily basis.
