What centre universitaire? This is the McCord Museum. Is that what it used to be?
It’s the former McGill student union building.
Interesting to see the American elm growing on the street corner and the canopy of another reaching across from the north side of Sherbrooke St. These trees shaded Sherbrooke street until the 1960s when, weakend by Dutch elm disease, they had to come down.
I’ve seen some before-and-after photos of the interiors….an awesome building conversion and extension.
