  1. The amount of space within the city limits that is wasted seems endless. yet, we continue to eat up the environment in the name of development in the suburbs.

    It is very depressing.
    Here’s to the hope that vertical development will take precedence over suburban expansion in Montreal at some point.

  3. Actually, I believe the greenest building you can build is renovating a building that’s built already.

    Christopher, before we even start talking about meaningful high rise development in Montreal, we should at least aim to fix the “grin with broken teeth” created by the endless supply of crappy surface parking and vacant lots downtown.

    When all the dead space is filled, then we can start thinking about growing higher.
