Grim..
VSL is actually a lovely, very diverse borough, and it’s sad that the one posting you guys have up here from that neighborhood (in a very long time) is a very “grim” picture.
@Anne : Thanks for commenting. I agree that VSL is a really interesting place and my intention was not at all to present it as being grim. While the streetscape above may not be that pretty, in my opinion there is a lot more potential there when compared other leafier suburbs because of the relatively high residential density. Regarding the topics covered on the blog, keep in mind that we’re all volunteers who write about what interests us. Given that most of us live in central-city neighbourhoods, that’s what we’re more likely to write about. If you think there isn’t enough VSL content, than the best way to fix that would be to join then team and start writing!
You mean apartment buildings… those are hardly towers. St Laurent is not so suburban anymore… it is a very bustling urban neighborhood now.
