  2. It is Saint Antoine, not Rene Levesque but nice picture!

  3. sorry for the wholey inaccurate photo description. Yes, this is Saint-Antoine, and the train tracks into Bonaventure station can be seen across the bottom of the picture.

  4. Actually, it’s Saint-Jacques. That ramp to the loading bay for Place Bonaventure ends (or goes under cover) before Saint-Antoine, plus that’s the Planetarium to the left of the photo.

    Les voies vont vers la Gare Centrale, qui a ouvert en 1944.

    La gare Bonaventure (sur le côté ouest de la rue Peel entre St-Jacques et Notre-Dame, en face du Planétarium) a brûlé en 1948, et son successeur, l’ancien édifice des messageries du CN a été démoli 60 ans plus tard.
