He was instrumental in building the railroad across Canada.
The home was illegally destroyed in the middle of the night against municipal law … an example of the much destroyed Montreal heritage and culture.
Not at all. The Van Horne mansion was at the corner of Sherbrooke and Stanley street. It wasn’t demolished during the night but during the day, with a demolition permit.
