   Thank You for these images. I am an ex-patriot of Montreal having left in 1968. I lived immediately behind this church from 66 to 69. At that time the cross street was called Ontario Avenue and further up the hill was the American Consulate were we routinely demonstrated again the Vietnam War.

   You do nice work on your matching your new shost to the old images. Harder then it looks. Keep it up!

   Please forgive my inability to write in French, my only excuse is that I haven’t been in a French environment for many decades.

   This is a very exciting project!

   Does anyone have an update on the MACM/Silo 5 proposal?

3. Why did they have to tear down that entire chunk?

5. Actually it looks more like they want to re-do the stone work instead of tearing off the entire wing.

   A poster on the site points out that the back wing of the church is actually an addition from the 1920’s.

   Re: the silo no. 5 MAC project

   Marc Mayer, maintenant directeur du Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Canada, veut utiliser le Silo no. 5 pour un agrandissement de son musée.

   Selon lui, puisque le musée est fédéral et le silo no. 5 appartient à SIC, également fédérale, ce projet devrait bouger plus rapidement.

   Difficile à comprendre ce qui va arriver avec le projet du MAC.

   Ils devraient envisager l’ancien Incinérateur no. 3 pour leur agrandissement.

   Je préférerais que le MACM est installé dans le silo 5, mais le MACM dans l’incinérateur no. 3? Mmmmmmm! Bonne idée!

   Si les 2 pourraient être transformés il sera meilleure.
