Spacing is happy to announce that our Summer 2007 issue, focused on water issues in Toronto, has been nominated in the Best Editorial Package category. This is the third year in a row that Spacing has been nominated in this category.
Spacing is also excited to announce that Edward Keenan’s piece on Markham and Lawrence East, published in our Spring 2007 issue focused on Toronto’s intersections, has received a nominated in the Essay category. Keenan’s nomination is Spacing’s first ever outside of the Best Editorial Package category.
Spacing contributing editor John Lorinc received three nominations, though none of them with Spacing.
The Walrus received 37 nominations, Toronto Life garnered 29, while Maclean’s picked up 18. To see the full listing of nominations check out the National Magazine Awards web site. Winners are announced June 6th.
