I don’t usually criticize urban changes, but this part of Ste Catherine street is too ruined down right now. It feels all dusty for some reason. The before picture/painting looks really beautiful.
À part l’église au loin, rien de l’ancienne image n’est resté.

En fait oui, l’immeuble situé aux coins nord est des rues city councilors et st-catherine fut construit en 1869. L’ancienne maison transformée en théâtre est aujourd’hui utilisé à des fins commerciale.
@Adolfo – I agree with you. Hopefully, the block from which the (contemporary) photo was taken will soon be transformed into something better than what we see here.
