This March, Ottawa will play host to an independent, yet licensed, TEDx event meant to encourage those attending to “Rethink and Rebuild the world around them.” With speakers ranging from a Carleton architecture alumni, and Calgarian food truck guru, to the Executive Director of the Match Fund for women, and a design strategist exploring possibilities to create social change, the event is sure to both challenge and inspire the Ottawa community.
For those interested in attending, an online application form is available until Friday, February 21, 2014. All applicants will be informed on March 2, 2014 of the status of the application, with unsuccessful applicants being added to a waitlist. Successful applicants will then be able to purchase until March 9, 2014, with unsold tickets to be released periodically to those on the waitlist.
