Approximately 7,000 trees will be cut down in Toronto and Vaughan in an attempt to stop the ongoing Asian long-horned beetle infestation. The massive felling, which follows the removal of more than 16,000 trees over the past two years, is set to start Aug. 22 in three areas in Vaughan and one in Toronto.
