Word on the Street was fun for us at Spacing. Though it looked like it may rain at any minute, it held off until late Sunday evening, long after we had all packed our boxes and gone home. A couple of highlights: the panel Blogging Toronto presented by Spacing was held in an overflowing Beyond the Page tent (panelist Sam Javanrouh has posted a pic); NDP leader Jack Layton bought a button for each station in his home riding and wore them for the rest of the day on his lapel; meeting a whole bunch of readers of the magazine, but had no idea who you were until today.
Thanks to Chris Nolan for the above panel photo.
