And wasn’t this called Culture Jamming just 5 years ago? Around the time Naomi Klien’s No Logo was published? I must be showing my age.
Yes, but it was also called billboard liberation. Culture jamming is the overarching name for this kind of activity.
Yesterday the MTV invented the term “Space Hacking”. I suppose we have to believe in the mtv.
I saw the exact same billboard when you come up the Bayview Extnsion at Moore Ave. On the northwest corner of Moore and Bayview. My partner and I were really perplexed – why would Stella use this as advertising? Now it makes sense….hard core…..
