Some quick pics from yesterday’s Activate the Park II in Butterfield Park at OCAD. Though April, everybody had cold feet and frozen digits after standing outside for six hours, but the show went on. Inside the giant inflatable there was a pyramid you could touch to make the fans slowdown and deflate the structure.

Giant colourful blocks to match the giant box floating over our heads.

Giant Jenga seemed to hold up the tabletop.

A public airing of dirty secrets.

The catch-the-butterflies group played human foosball while not being chased by people with nets. The foosball group has plans to re-stage it in Grange Park possibly. I could see a more robust version of this becoming a permanent part of some park.

  1. That human foosball thing: brilliant! I am sad I was locked up inside all day writing a final paper, last year’s was great.
