Too bad Hampton didn’t include a plug for the Mixed-Member Proportional referndum option in his answer to that (anachronistic) MPP recall question. It was his best chance: “there is something you can do to change the way politicians are elected…”
Frank De Jong (Green Party Leader) should have been included in the debate. What a bullshit democracy we live in. Any party with 10% support in the polls deserves to be represented in a debate. Why do we accept that CEOs of major TV networks decide which parties we should be exposed to? Our collective tolerance for this crap amazes me.
I don’t even like the Green party. But I like democracy.
