  1. …too bad the Rob Ford stuff isn’t a joke. Bah.
That guy’s a fool 365 days a year, and his stellar phone-call-return rate doesn’t change that fact.

  2. Barbers story today accurately sums up where Rob Ford is these days especially in that Ford has lots of bark that gets him in The Sun and makes him popular in Rexdale coffee shops but has little bite in terms of what his actual contribution to Council and the has been (which is pretty much zero).

At the end of the day the joke is on Rexdale, those who vote for him, or the majority that don’t vote at all ensuring he gets re-elected. He is elected to be Rexdale’s voice at council and in the spirit of saving the taxpayer money I wonder when voters will ask whether they are truly getting their moneys worth with Ford.

Rob Ford is a racist bully among other things who wastes everybody’s time.

  3. In “Film review: The Political Assassination of John Barber by the Councillor John Ford [ National Post ]”

“This is Ford’s cue to turn the tables on his inquisitor, and the two occidental councilors give chase to the scribe.”
    ^^^^^^^^^^
Chris Knight spelled accidental wrong. But then again maybe he was disORIENTed by all the deking Rob did in the hockey match that turned into a council meeting.

  4. Shawn> “Ford told me, “Roads are for cars.” He believes it is much too dangerous to cycle on the road and that, for cyclists, it is tantamount to “swimming with the sharks.”

Now that you have been reacquainted with Ford’s petroleum occident (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Canal) consider which cheek the tongue is in. There is no crime in being just a little bit punny.

That said sometimes one has to question whether Bobby Ford isn’t a really councillor by accident. Some might even suspect his vocation is on vacation.
