Join Heritage Toronto, TD Canada Trust, Cadillac Fairview and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation for a unique penthouse view and tour of the 54th floor of this International Style tower designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Sit in the TD Canada Trust boardroom, and learn about the building’s exquisite art and architectural features. After your tour, check out the exhibits about the site in the ground floor lobby.

LOCATION: Toronto-Dominion Centre, 66 Wellington St W between Bay and York Streets.

  1. The TD Centre is just one of 150 buildings participating in Doors Open. The site is actually http://www.toronto.ca/doorsopen/ (www.doorsopen.org used to work, but it looks like the city didn’t renew it).

    I believe there is also a pull-out guide in the Entertainment section of today’s Toronto Star.

  2. Matt, true, but this is the one Heritage Toronto is specifically involved with and we have been posting about each weekend’s walk as their promoting sponsor. We probably should have a separate post about Doors Open, but it’s such a wonderful and entrenched part of late May in Toronto, it doesn’t need our help. I find it too overwhelming to try and pick and choose what to see — usually will look into a few places I don’t know anything about.
