Once again Toronto leads in job losses!
Here is an example of the propaganda from city hall….
In the “Agenda for Prosperity”….
“The 2nd fastest growing major employment region in North America (employment increased by 316,000 in the Toronto CMA, 2000 – 2006”
From Mayor Miller’ s speech to the Board of Trade…..
“We are all aware of the challenges of these economic times. But the diversity of Toronto’s economy is allowing us to withstand these challenges better than most cities”
Yet the truth is the opposite. Toronto had a net job loss between 2000-2006. And Toronto is fairing worse than the surrounding municipalities.
