  1. It’s good to see more press on the Lower Don arena complex issue. The Port Lands can be a beautiful area in the future, but not with complexes like this. The arena complex has a massive surface level parking lot all the way up to the shipping channel. I’m glad to see Smitherman speaking out on this issue.

    In this era of city-building and we shouldn’t let it be mediocre suburban-style building. We can’t rest on our Victorian laurels.

Are there any prelim image of the arena project out there..I can’t seem to come across any….I like the smitherman though process on this…stack’em and free up land for other projects that would integrate the complex into the community rather than a sprawling mess that would look at home in Vaughan.
