See why I told Mayor Miller to butt out of local politics in ward 18 Davenport at Dufferin subway station this morning http://davenportdemocracy.blogspot.com/
Can his jerk-knee and poor decision to endorse yet another Giambrone clone in the form of Kevin Beaulieu help or hurt Kevin? … not my question. My question is:
Should a sitting Mayor blatantly tell voters who to vote for, while using his mayoral cloak of office?
Seems to me that Ford should stick to his strengths. If he wants promotion he should seek higher office in football, not politics. After all, given the last few years of the Argos how much worse could he be?
Re: DiManno
Cars are not the enemy. Bikes are not the enemy. Transit is not the enemy. Pedestrians are not the enemy. There is NO “enemy,” all it comes down to is sharing the road. From my observations, most people do not have a problem with this. And the sooner news directors figure this out, the sooner Toronto will stop looking mentally retarded when it comes to urban transportation.
