  1. In the picture of crowds at Woodbine station, the platform area in the entire foreground (where the roof is lower) is going to be off-limits once the planned elevators are installed.

    People thought it was bad enough there today — wait until a quarter of the platform area, and one of the three bus positions, is no longer available.

  2. I was there this morning at 7:15am and was thinking the same thing. While subway shutdowns like this are relatively rare, whenever they do happen on Danforth, Woodbine station is almost always used as a turn-back or terminal station. The last thing the TTC should be doing is reducing the capacity there.
