    Besides intending to claim as much insurance money as possible, I can’t understand why they would sue the truck driver who was rear ended. To my understanding, he would not be at fault for anything.

    If anyone should be sued, it would be the Toronto Police for not conducting a drug test to see if the driver was impaired, especially after finding what is believed to be a controlled substance in his bag. Ditto for the TTC.
