Riots in London, England caused massive damage this past summer. The Guardian’s interactive photo feature allows users to fast forward six months to see the way buildings, streets and neighbourhoods have recovered.

It certianly is true that London is moving on from the riots. While it might not have seemed so at the time, swathes of Hackney in North/East London are pretty hip areas now, not unlike Queen Street West in Toronto. This is a city that can stay calm & carry on.
