Glad to see such a beautiful building preserved to a great extent; but sad to see they cannot come up with some more appropriate use for such a building. Seriously, you really need parking garage so badly at the time when you cannot find any use for this building?
I’ve seen what they do with old building in the U.S.. They turn them into garages. Detroit is an example where they turned a theatre (similar to the Royal Alex) into a parking garage. Folks, this is not an old building. It’s a new parking garage built to look like an old building!
