Dear Torontonians,
If you received an invitation directing you to this site, we at ERA Architects, Spacing Magazine, and Toronto Society of Architects would be pleased for you to join us for the 8th annual Toronto the Good event!
The Toronto the Good parties bring together a diverse group of Torontonians interested in the City, and in city building. In past years, Toronto the Good parties have taken place at the Distillery District, Harbourfront, Hart House, and Fort York (where a former Mayor shot off a cannon aimed at the Gardiner). This year we return to Fort York to coincide with the unveiling of Luminato’s Encampment, which consists of 200 low-lit tents, each telling a different story from civilian accounts of the War of 1812.
Also on the bill this year: catering by En Ville, music by DJ Sam “Efsharp” Fleming, a special historical cocktail presented by Campbell House Museum, an informative display by Scadding Court Community Centre regarding the potential of “cargotecture” and pop-up marketplaces, and several other charming presentations on what’s new at Fort York and around our city.
Come out to Fort York on June 7th and have a drink with fellow citizens who care about Toronto – both its past and its future!
