Late night wandering around Regent Park last night passed by the soon to be opened aquatic centre, part of the regeneration of the neighbourhood. It’s an inside-outside building, with glass all around letting us peer in. Perhaps the newest building in Toronto to be added to the “greatest ceilings in the city” list?

Wow, that is a fantastic ceiling! It has a very Centennial feel to it, oddly appropriate for a public building…
So is this aquatic centre open to all residents in Regent Park, or just some?
It will be open to everybody – a City of Toronto resource like any other.
This building is awesome. It’s already on shortlists for some design awards, I’m sure.
It’ll make the greatest buildings list, not just greatest ceilings. A real stunner.
When does it open so we can go check it out for swimming
