There is a bit of irony here, that despite the legend, she really wasn’t too big on parks. She was more concerned about the uses around the parks than the parks themselves.
Ben, you are spot on. From my read of her works, she is not a really a fan of large urban park. I think this initiative is really misguided. Why do you need to dedicate almost a full city block to park when Queen’s park is just 6 minutes walk down the road (based on google map). A strip of green space or better yet, a small, intimate piazza would suffice,
