I generally support Porter (including the new pedestrian tunnel and even the killed bridge) and find the small airport at the foot of downtown beneficial for the city’s vitality. However I think their recent plan for expansion over-reaching. In a way, allowing corporate jets to land at the island would probably be a good thing for business (like it or not, that means good for Toronto). But once you open it up for jet planes, it becomes a very messy business to decide which jets are too big, too noisy and too polluting, and which ones are OK. Keep it the way it is Porter, don’t get too greedy.
