Marcus Gee’s article just depresses me that Shelley Carroll isn’t running for mayor.
When the Martin Goodman Trail we rebuilt in front of Ontario Place, it included a longish detour to avoid the spot where one of the grand stands for the Toronto Indy was located for a few days out of the year.
I believe this was the first time the Indy had be run since the trail opened, but the grand stand it was designed to avoid wasn’t even set up this year.
@Brent I would argue that the City needs a good budget chief more than a good mayor.
