Canadian Urbanism Uncovered

  1. While I would love to vote, I just don’t know how to feel. My thoughts about citizenship are very confusing, and I simply cannot reconcile them. I feel like I am a citizen of the city, if not the country, and I know enough about politics and the machinery of government to make informed decisions that will affect my life.

On the other hand, I am not Canadian.

Although I am looking forward to the NAU if it ever happens. The idea of having a single passport and being able to settle anywhere within the 3 North American countries sounds like it would make life much better on the continent.

I am just afraid at what kind of laws the continental government would pass, and what its jurisdiction would be (I assume it would be only trade matters, but the EU has gotten into human rights stuff too) seeing as it would be heavily American.
