Could Spacing issue a call for ideas for transforming the Hearn Generating Station? Hume mentions a few – would love to see the creative energy of practicing and student artists and architects unleashed on this one!
What we do with this impressive structure will say a lot about who we are as Canadians today. Can we revitalize it, or is its fate an energy-intensive and very wasteful demolition and replacement with something banal?
