    I’d applaud Ford and his gang if they can really pull this one off. Personally I am just fine with the bikes lanes as they are, but I do think separate lanes can encourage more people come out cycling, making cycling more mainstream than it is today. Now just make sure that a decent separation between these lanes and parked cars (so no door prize), and vigorously clean the snow from these lanes, for days like today.

  2. I don’t understand how these will work. How will snow be cleaned? How will cyclists be allowed to pass other, slower cyclists? How will cyclists be able to make proper left turns? I feel like this is based on the notion that cycling is a recreational activity at most and that people on bikes simply want to bike up and down a street, then go home.
