Miller’s opposition to the transmission line is misguided – not least because a northern line is likely to be connected to wind farms in Northern Ontario. Hizzoner’s short sightedness strikes again.
By the way Mr Mayor – where the hell is the electricity to power all your Transit City streetcars going to come from? Oh, I forgot. Conservation. Where we use less power but then they hike the rates because Toronto Hydro must continue to be a cash cow to plug the holes in City Council’s budget.
