• As electric cars gain popularity, Washington state law makers are looking for a way to claw back lost gas tax revenues. Proposed legislation would see electric car owners paying a $100 extra registration fee to cover the costs of road maintenance. (Seattle Times)

And in a recent G&M interview, the RioCan CEO said…“Everybody’s recognized that endless suburban sprawl, even if the land exists, is bad. It’s bad environmentally and economically. You just can’t afford to keep building new infrastructure.”
