  1. Do we know if the eglinton line will continue west of black creek on the surface to the airport as previously planned?

  2. re: What would Jane Jacobs do?

This one is right on. Miller’s term would have been much more successful had he understood that often government can achieve more by doing less, by getting out of the way. Unfortunately we have to discover this quality on somebody who has little interest and understanding in urban agenda.

  3. What a horrible outcome. Yes, the Eglinton and Scarborough lines will be built (bravo), but Sheppard will not (I can not imagine THIS mayor willing to fund over $4 billion in transit expansion). Before the Mayor’s office messed this up, the province was paying for the Eglinton line, a Sheppard line, a Finch line, and a Scarborough line. We are now getting half the transit and the province is off the hook for the rest. Never could I ever imagined such Incompetence from a Toronto mayor!

  4. Maybe Mayor Ford can get his new “Clean Toronto Together” decals for Toronto’s garbage trucks printed at his father’s company for a deal!
