At approximately 5:15pm, City Council voted to sign a 20-year contract with the ad company Astral Media Outdoor to supply our bus shelters, benches, garbage bins and bike racks (among other things) for the next 20 years. Adam Vaughan, Cliff Jenkins, Janet Davis, and Rob Ford were the only ones to vote against the deal, an odd motley crew of discontents.
