After all the time and money spent on harmonizing the city’s bylaws, they’re talking about scrapping the whole thing. What’s mysterious to me is that Milczyn thinks that a new bylaw could be created from scratch in a year. Even more mysterious is why this newly-created bylaw would stop appeals to the OMB.
Unless of course the bylaw says “it’s your property, do what you like”. Hmm, that won’t stop the NIMBYs from appealing to the OMB. I am frankly puzzled.
