What: Word on the Street

When: Sunday, September 25th, 10am-6pm
This all-day event is far and away our biggest and most important sales and outreach opportunity. As anyone who’s seen us at WOTS before knows, our booth is very popular. We’d love to have a big, enthusiastic crew on hand to maximize the fun factor (as well as the sales factor, of course). Volunteering with Spacing is a great way to get to meet urban-enthusiasts of all shapes and sizes, and also goes a long way to help support the magazine. All volunteers will receive a free subscription to the magazine, as well as Spacing t-shirt.
We are going to have some great deals on subscriptions, back issues, buttons, and magnets. This will be the Toronto debut of our Montreal Metro buttons, and as well, we are releasing a brand new line of neighbourhood-themed t-shirts and buttons.
We have currently have spots open for all shifts (10am-noon, noon-2pm, 2-4, 4-6). If you are interested in lending us a hand this weekend, please email mikebulko@spacing.ca with your availability.
